Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz's transfer to Nottingham Forest in England seems unlikely. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Nottingham Forest management considered the option of loaning the Brazilian player, with the possibility of a full purchase later. According to the contract terms, there could also be an obligation to buy the player under certain circumstances.
However, Juventus rejected this offer as they intend to sell the 27-year-old midfielder urgently. Nottingham Forest, on the other hand, is not willing to agree to a direct purchase of the player.
It is worth noting that Douglas Luiz transferred from Aston Villa to Juventus last summer. His transfer was valued at over 50 million euros.
Currently, the player's value is estimated by experts from the prestigious Transfermarkt portal to be 30 million euros. For this reason, an agreement on the player's transfer between the two clubs has not been reached.
No changes are expected in the situation in the coming days.
