Ararat-Armenia won in extra time in Romania

In the first match of the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying round, a draw was recorded. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Today, the teams "Universitatea" and "Ararat-Armenia" took to the field to determine the winner. In the 13th minute, Jovan Lukich headed the ball into the net from a pass by Yulian Kriste from the right wing of the "Universitatea" team, opening the scoring.

Alexandru Kipchu created an opportunity for Lukich with a short pass, but Lukich's next shot went just wide of the goalpost. In the 37th minute, the guests managed to score, but the referee noted an offside in that situation, and the goal was disallowed.

In the 53rd minute of the second half, Joao Markos received the ball on the right side of the opponent's penalty area and passed it to Kamo Oganesyan. Oganesyan equalized with a precise shot.

The game ended in a draw in regular time, and extra time began. In extra time, the home team's goalkeeper made several attempts to save his team, but in the 117th minute, Jonatan Duarte executed a free kick from the right wing, and Pol Ayongo sent the ball into the far corner, making the score 2:1.

With this result, "Ararat-Armenia" advanced to the next stage and will now compete against "Aktobe" or Prague's "Sparta." Match protocol: "Universitatea" – 1, "Ararat-Armenia" – 2.
