
The goalkeeper coach of the Russian national team, Vitaliy Kafanov, shared his thoughts on Stanislav Agkatsev, the goalkeeper of the "Krasnodar" club, and assessed his prospects for the current season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Kafanov, Agkatsev showed a high level of performance last season, and it is interesting for the coach whether he can maintain this result this year. Stanislav Agkatsev spent his first full season with "Krasnodar" last season and helped the team win the Russian championship.
Kafanov emphasized that Agkatsev's crucial saves played a significant role in bringing the championship title to the team for the first time in history. Last season, the 23-year-old goalkeeper appeared in 34 matches for "Krasnodar."
In 17 of these matches, he managed to keep his goal intact. Currently, Agkatsev's contract with the club is valid until 2029.
According to the specialist, if the goalkeeper continues to play at a high level in the future, he will remain an important player for the team. Kafanov highly valued Agkatsev's growth and experience and stated that he expects good results from him this season as well.
