Larin: Rakov may be called up to the national team
Nikolay Larin previously worked as the director of the "Chertanovo" club academy. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He shared his thoughts on Vadim Rakov's successful performance at the beginning of the season. According to Larin, Rakov, who is a player of the "Lokomotiv" club, is currently playing on loan at "Krylya Sovetov".
He scored four goals and provided one assist in the first three rounds of the Russian Premier League. Larin stated that Vadim Rakov has adapted to his new team and has started to show himself immediately.
In his opinion, the loan option chosen for Rakov was the right one, and everything is going well so far. Larin also emphasized that every team should have players like Rakov.
According to him, it is advisable for such players to be not only in one team but also in other clubs. Larin also added that there is a possibility of Vadim Rakov being called up to the national team.
If the national team coach considers it necessary, he will call Rakov. For reference, last season Vadim Rakov scored three goals in 26 matches in the Russian Premier League.
