“Dinamo” team veteran Aleksey Petrushin expressed his opinion about “Dinamo”'s defeat against “Krasnodar” in an interview with the online publication “Evro-Futbol.Ru”. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
When asked about the match result, Petrushin emphasized that “Krasnodar” did not fully deserve the victory. According to him, “Dinamo” started the game well in both halves, but this advantage did not last long.
During the game, the hosts took control of the advantage, but “Dinamo” did not perform poorly in defense. Petrushin stated that the decisive moment in the game arose due to a mistake.
The Moscow players could have prevented this mistake. When asked why “Dinamo” could not make a single accurate shot on goal, Petrushin noted that the team played very weakly in attack.
The opponent also did not give “Dinamo” any chances. Some players, particularly Gladyishev, could not show themselves, as he was lacking something.
Other attackers also did not receive enough support, as their teammates did not pass the ball to them. There were also questions regarding Kutytskiy’s foul in the game.
Petrushin stated that there was a clear foul in this situation, and the referee overlooked it. According to him, in this case, the assistant referees, particularly the VAR system officials, did not assess the situation correctly.
Petrushin emphasized that “Krasnodar”'s current game does not reflect the level of the previous season, and the team is only demonstrating two-thirds of its full potential. When rating “Dinamo” for the match, Petrushin gave a score of four, considering that there was no attack, but the defense worked well, although he mentioned that this score also had negative nuances.
