“Dinamo” team head coach Valeriy Karpin shared his thoughts with journalists after the match against “Krasnodar.” This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, the team was unable to create many attacking situations in today’s match. The coach emphasized that the lack of substitute players in the squad was not the reason, but rather that “Krasnodar” performed well.
Karpin stated that the opposing team did not allow “Dinamo” to implement their game. He also mentioned the need to analyze why this happened.
When asked if it was expected for “Krasnodar” to have more ball possession, he noted that there was no special preparation for this, and if the opponent took the ball away or if “Dinamo” gave it away themselves, that was a different matter. Additionally, when asked about the performance of the new player Rubens who played in today’s match, Karpin remarked that he acted well while he had the strength.
Speaking about the team’s first defeat of the season, the head coach emphasized that this result should not negatively affect the team’s morale; on the contrary, it is necessary to draw conclusions from this situation.
