
Newcastle United football club was unable to persuade RB Leipzig to complete the transfer of striker Benjamin Šeško. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The English club Newcastle offered a guaranteed payment of 75 million euros and an additional 5 million euros in bonuses for the 22-year-old player. However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, the German club RB Leipzig rejected this offer.
They were not satisfied with the amount of the proposed bonus and the overall payment structure. Currently, Manchester United is also involved in the battle for Benjamin Šeško.
So far, they have not made an official offer. Additionally, although various rumors are circulating around Šeško, the player himself has not yet made a definitive decision regarding any club.
According to the Transfermarkt website, Benjamin Šeško's estimated value is 70 million euros. Therefore, negotiations surrounding his transfer are ongoing.
No definite decision has yet been made regarding the future of the club and the player. Meanwhile, other clubs may also express their desire to add Šeško to their ranks.
