At the beginning of the new season, the Kaliningrad Baltika team collected seven points in the first three matches of the Russian football championship RPL. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This result was achieved under the leadership of the team's head coach Andrey Talalayev and equaled the record set in the Russian championship for a club that has entered the RPL. It should be noted that several teams have achieved such results in previous years as well.
In 1996, after returning to the RPL, the Zenit team from Saint Petersburg collected seven points in their first three games. Three years later, in 1999, the Saturn club from Ramenskoye also gathered seven points after three matches.
In 2001, this result was also repeated by the Sokol team. In recent years, during the 2021/2022 season, the Nizhniy Novgorod club recorded the same result.
Thus, the successful participation of the Baltika team in the new season has become an important historical event for the club. Considering that this result has also been achieved by major teams in previous years, Baltika's performance is highly regarded in the Russian championship.
The club is expected to continue striving to improve its results.
