Manchester United and Newcastle clubs are continuing the battle for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sheshko. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Recently, some sources reported that Newcastle was leading the race to sign the 22-year-old Slovenian player. However, the German club RB Leipzig rejected the offer made for his transfer.
As a result, the situation remains uncertain. According to the source Gazeta.uz, journalist Jan Oge Fjortoft stated that at the moment, Sheshko prefers to move to Manchester United.
At the same time, the striker needs to ensure whether the club management can meet RB Leipzig's high demands. Only after that can Sheshko agree to this transfer.
For now, negotiations are ongoing and a final decision has not yet been made.
