Masalitin: "Lokomotiv" will not be able to fight for the championship for long

Valeriy Masalitin, a veteran of Moscow's “Spartak” team, shared his thoughts on the performance of the capital's “Lokomotiv” club in the new season of the Russian Premier League. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the “Lokomotiv” team is not capable of competing for the championship in the long term. In Masalitin's opinion, if luck is on their side, they might secure third place, but they will likely fight for fourth or sixth places instead.

Currently, three rounds have been held in the Russian championship, and the “Lokomotiv” team is leading the competition table with nine points. In the upcoming fourth round, “Lokomotiv” will face the “Spartak” team at home.
