Chervichenko supported the strengthening of the legionnaires' restrictions

He expressed his opinion on the initiative to strengthen restrictions on legionnaires in Russian football. It is reported that these restrictions are expected to be tightened starting from the next season.

Chervichenko supports this initiative put forward by the Russian Ministry of Sports. He considers this change a correct and justified decision.

According to him, this measure will be beneficial for Russian football, especially for young players. Chervichenko believes that due to the restrictions, young footballers will strive to continue their careers in their homeland instead of going abroad.

He emphasized that he does not see any negative aspects in this matter. Currently, clubs in the Russian Premier League can register 13 legionnaires for the season.

At the same time, a team can have a maximum of 8 foreign players on the field at the same time, no more. After three rounds of the championship, the "Lokomotiv" team is leading in the Russian championship.
