Real Madrid has received another rejection regarding its proposal to change the date of the match against Osasuna in the first round of La Liga. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This match is scheduled to take place on August 19. Local media reports this.
The Real team had requested to move the game to another day. According to club representatives, they have only 15 days for pre-season preparation.
This short preparation period is related to the team's recent participation in the club world championship. Nevertheless, the Appeals Committee of the Royal Spanish Football Federation did not satisfy Real's request.
The committee's decision emphasized that the regulations do not specify a minimum duration for pre-season preparation. It also stated that the date of the match can only be changed in exceptional circumstances.
For this reason, the match between Real and Osasuna will take place as scheduled.
