Santamariya joined the Spanish club on a two-year labor contract. According to the Transfermarkt portal, the agreement between the French and Spanish clubs was valued at two million euros.
In the second half of last season, Batist Santamariya also played for another Ligue 1 club – Nice. He participated in 13 matches for this team.
