London's West Ham football club has reached an agreement to add Danish goalkeeper Mads Hermansen from Leicester. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
A contract has been signed between the clubs, and the terms of the personal contract with the player have also been agreed upon. Journalist Ben Jacobs reported this on his pages.
The fee for the 25-year-old goalkeeper is approximately £18 million. Mads Hermansen played in 27 matches for Leicester in the English Premier League last season.
He managed to keep a clean sheet in only one match. Leicester could not maintain their position in the Premier League last season and was relegated to the Championship.
West Ham, on the other hand, finished 14th in the league table at the end of last season. Ahead of the new season, West Ham is making a goalkeeper transfer to strengthen their squad.
The club management is confident in Hermansen's experience and skills.
