Fenerbahce's central defender Aleksandr Jiku is close to moving to Moscow's Spartak club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Previously, there were reports that the two clubs had reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the 30-year-old player. According to Metaratings, Spartak's management offered Jiku a salary of 2.2-2.3 million euros per year along with additional bonus payments.
At the same time, it is said that this amount may decrease during the negotiations. In the 2024-2025 season, Aleksandr Jiku participated in a total of 38 matches across all competitions and scored once.
According to some sources, Spartak is ready to pay five million euros to buy Jiku from the Turkish club. Although the parties have not officially announced the signing of a contract yet, the player is expected to move to a new club in the near future.
Thus, the likelihood of Aleksandr Jiku continuing his career in Russian football is high.
