Mostovoy: Lokomotiv's success is related to new players

Famous former football player Alexander Mostovoy shared his thoughts on the reasons for the successful start of the "Lokomotiv" team this season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, the club's position at the top of the tournament table is due to the new players who joined the squad in the summer. Mostovoy emphasized that the team's composition is balanced, with two or three players brought in during the summer.

These new players, in particular, Zelimkhan Bakaev, Alexander Rudenko, and Nikolay Komlichenko, are actively contributing in attack. Two of them have already appeared in the starting lineup.

In Mostovoy's opinion, these players are capable of scoring ten goals for the team. Additionally, according to the expert, it is still too early to draw definitive conclusions about the Moscow team's prospects for the season.

For now, it is only possible to speak based on the results of the initial stages. Under the leadership of Mikhail Galaktionov, the "Lokomotiv" team has won three consecutive matches in the current championship, accumulating a total of 9 points.

The team will face "Spartak" in the capital derby on Saturday. This match will start at 18:00 Moscow time.
