After the game, Jamie Bayno-Gittens mentioned in an interview that he had spoken with Cole Palmer before moving to Chelsea. According to him, Palmer advised him to join Chelsea.
The coach asked him to score more goals, provide assists, deceive opponents on the left and right flanks, and always give his best effort. The Chelsea team announced at the beginning of July that they had signed English player Jamie Bayno-Gittens.
He moved to London from Borussia Dortmund. His transfer cost Chelsea 56 million euros.
