Inyigo Martinez left "Barcelona" for a higher salary

Central defender Inyigo Martines has left the 'Barcelona' club to join the Saudi Arabian team 'Al-Nasr'. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The Spanish player joined his new team as a free agent, meaning no transfer fee was paid. The 34-year-old Martines mutually agreed to terminate his contract with 'Barcelona'.

According to local media, Martines initially did not plan to leave the Catalonia club, but the offer from 'Al-Nasr' was very attractive to him. He will earn nearly twice as much at his new club compared to before.

Inyigo Martines has been representing 'Barcelona' since the summer of 2023. During this time, he played in 71 matches for the club.

Last season, the central defender helped his team secure all domestic trophies. Martines' experience and consistent performance are expected to benefit his new team as well.
