Ipswich has loaned Akpom from Ajax for one year

Chuba Akpom has joined the Ipswich football club in England. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The club has reached an agreement with the Amsterdam team Ajax to loan the player for one year. Akpom will play as a forward, and a contract has been signed for his loan.

For your information, Chuba Akpom is 29 years old. He is a product of London’s Arsenal club.

However, like many young footballers, he did not have the opportunity to play in the main squad and was loaned to various clubs. During his career, Akpom has been loaned out six times from Arsenal to other clubs.

He has also played for Greece's PAOK club, England's Middlesbrough, Netherlands' Ajax, and France's Lille. Currently, Akpom's contract with Ajax is valid until 2028.

However, according to the agreement reached for the loan, Ipswich must fully purchase the player if certain conditions are met. The Ipswich team will participate in the English Championship again in the new season.

The club was relegated from the English Premier League last season.
