The right-back of the Monza team, Samuele Birindelli's representative, Stefano Lombardi, shared his thoughts on the recent rumors regarding his client and the Rubin club from Kazan. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In a statement to our editorial office, he mentioned that these reports do not reflect the truth. According to Lombardi, there are currently no negotiations taking place between Samuele Birindelli and the Rubin club.
Earlier, some media outlets reported that the Rubin club intended to add the Monza player to their squad and had offered him a four-year contract. However, the player's representative denied this information.
For reference, Samuele Birindelli has been with Monza since 2022. His contract with the team is valid until 2026.
At the moment, the Rubin club has accumulated seven points after four rounds of the Russian championship and is positioned in the middle of the tournament table. Thus, there is currently no confirmed information regarding Samuele Birindelli's transfer to the Rubin club.
