
Bayer football club announced that it has signed a contract with forward Ernest Poku. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Information about this was provided on the official website of the German club. The Dutch forward signed a labor contract intended for five years.
According to German media reports, Poku was acquired by the Leverkusen team for 10 million euros without bonuses. Last season, the 21-year-old winger played 42 matches in all competitions for AZ Alkmaar.
He scored three goals and provided eight assists in these competitions. Poku may play his first match in the Bundesliga on August 23.
In the first round of the German championship, the Leverkusen team will face Hoffenheim. Thus, the young player will have the opportunity to make his debut game for his new club.
