Chelestini: Torop played well, but there was a lack of precision in the attack

CSKA team's head coach Fabio Chelestini commented to the press after the match against the "Rubin" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The coach stated that Verde moved on the left flank during the game and sometimes swapped places with Misha Ryadno. They took each other's positions, with Verde occasionally moving to the center and Misha sometimes going to the wing.

However, Verde did not play on the right flank. Speaking about the debut of new players, Chelestini emphasized that the team played well in the first half, but there were issues in finishing the attacks.

He recalled that in the previous match against "Rubin," every opportunity turned into a goal. In today's game, although the team had the advantage, they lacked efficiency in the final 30 meters.

The coach noted that if attacks are not finished effectively, it will be difficult to win. In response to the question of why efficiency was low in the final third, Chelestini spoke about the peculiarities of football.

Sometimes three shots result in three goals, while at other times, despite having many opportunities, it is impossible to score. He happily mentioned that the team's lineup, composed of young players, took the field together for the first time and they dominated the game.

Chelestini emphasized that the team played well, created many situations, but there was a lack of precision in the final stage. He stated that it is necessary to work on this, but he is satisfied with the overall performance.

When asked whether there was a conversation with Vladislav Torop after his mistake, the coach replied that Torop played well, even excellently, and that every player can make mistakes. In his opinion, there is no need to discuss this, as Torop showed himself well and benefited the team.
