Kanchelskis: Spartak cannot take advantage of financial opportunities

Former football player Andrey Kanchelskis expressed his opinion about the problems in the "Spartak" team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He noted that "Spartak" is not effectively utilizing its financial capabilities. According to Kanchelskis, the club has enough funds to be a leader in the Russian championship, but over the last decade, "Spartak" has not been able to significantly outperform its rivals in any season.

He stated that "Spartak" is spending financially on par with "Zenit," but this money is not being used correctly, resulting in a lack of success. In the new season, "Spartak" has started unsuccessfully.

Currently, the team is in 11th place in the Premier League standings. Additionally, there are reports in the media that Dejan Stankovich may soon leave his position as head coach.
