Chervichenko rejected Spartak's offer to Gerrard

He commented on the reports that the club had made a job offer to English coach Steven Gerrard. Chervichenko stated that these claims are not true.

According to him, such information is baseless and false. It has been reported that Steven Gerrard's agents have already declined this offer.

They cited the current geopolitical situation as the main reason. Steven Gerrard played as a footballer for England's Liverpool club and the national team.

Later, he began his coaching career. Gerrard has worked as a coach for Liverpool's youth team, England's Aston Villa club, Scotland's Rangers team (where he won a championship once), and Saudi Arabia's Al-Ittifaq club.

He left Al-Ittifaq club at the beginning of this year. Thus, Chervichenko advised not to believe the rumors in this regard.
