Representatives of the “Dinamo” football club from Tashkent sent a request to the Expert-Referees Commission of the Russian Football Union. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This request was prompted by a situation during the recent match against the “Sochi” team. In the fourth round of the Russian championship, the “Dinamo” and “Sochi” clubs faced each other.
The match ended in a 1:1 draw. It is reported that the “Dinamo” club officially appealed regarding an incident that occurred in the 10th minute of the game.
Club representatives expressed their objection that a penalty was not awarded by the referee for a handball by the opposing player. This was announced by a representative of the Russian Football Union to the “Match TV” channel.
Currently, the “Dinamo” club, led by Valeriy Karpin, is in ninth place in the Russian Premier League standings. Club officials are requesting a review of this situation and an evaluation of the referees' performance.
A relevant decision by the commission regarding this matter is expected.
