Mostovoy: "If Spartak wins against Zenit, they will praise Stankovich"

Former USSR and Russia national team player Alexander Mostovoy commented on the speculation regarding the future of Spartak's head coach Deyan Stankovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, there is no need to think about the Serbian coach's resignation at the moment, as he recently extended his contract with the club. Mostovoy emphasized that if Spartak defeats Zenit, those who are criticizing Stankovich now will start praising him.

He also mentioned that he has seen such situations many times before. Currently, Moscow's Spartak team is in 11th place in the Russian Premier League.

Last season, the team finished in fourth place, and due to this result, a new contract was signed with Stankovich. In the Russian Cup, Spartak recently missed their chance against Dinamo (Makhachkala) in a penalty shootout.
