The head coach of the "Baltika" football team, Andrey Talalaev, shared his thoughts with "Match TV" after the match against "Lokomotiv". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
During the first half of the match, the coach was observed having long conversations with some players. During the break, a few minutes were allocated to deeply analyze the events that occurred in the first half.
Additionally, two players were substituted during the break. One left the field due to injury, while the other was replaced because their performance was insufficient.
The coach explained these changes as a necessity to make adjustments to the team's play. Andrey Talalaev emphasized that he was not fully satisfied with his team's actions with the ball.
He mentioned that he expected more activity from the central and wing midfielders. In particular, he expressed dissatisfaction with one wing defender and the performance of the central line.
As a result of the changes during the break, the young player began to feel much freer. The coach pointed out that it is not easy for a player from Tver to play against the strongest team in Russia immediately.
The second half of the match went better and showed that there are opportunities for the team's growth. According to Talalaev, many players' physical condition is still not sufficient, and they need to continue working on themselves.
No major changes were made during the game, as the team began to manage itself independently. However, the coach noted that there is still a lack of leadership to take charge on the field and play under pressure.
For this reason, he had to actively participate in the game.
