Safonov: Spertsiyan's transfer to England is not right

Football agent Aleksey Safonov commented on the possibility of Eduard Spertsiyan transferring to the "Southampton" club. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, reports circulated that the English club had offered 12 million euros to "Krasnodar" for the midfielder. According to Safonov, "Southampton" is not a bad club, but the English Premier League is a very tough competition that requires strong physical fitness.

It is more appropriate for Eduard to play in other leagues; moving to England is not the right decision. The agent also emphasized that he does not believe Spertsiyan will transfer to "Southampton."

This season, the player, who is the captain of "Krasnodar," has appeared in seven matches, scored two goals, and provided three assists. His contract with "Krasnodar" will expire within a year.
