The match of the 8th round of the World Cup qualification group stage has come to an end. In this round, the Uzbekistan national team played against Iran in Tehran, ending the match in a 2:2 draw.
In the 16th minute, Hojimat Erkinov opened the scoring, while in the 52nd minute, "Inter" striker Taremi managed to equalize the score. Just a minute later, our young star Abbosbek Fayzullev put our national team ahead again. In the 83rd minute, Mehdi Taremi scored a double, bringing the score back to a tie.
With this success, the Persians secured a spot in the World Cup.
