Sergey Sinyayev, the general director of the “Torpedo” football club in Moscow, provided information about the team's plans for the upcoming season. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
It should be noted that the “Torpedo” club was removed from the list of participants in the Russian Premier League due to attempts by the previous management to bribe referees. The team was also fined five million rubles.
According to Sinyayev, if the club has received a license, then the funding for the upcoming season is confirmed. The objectives set for the season do not need to be disclosed; they will naturally be at the highest level.
The team composition has not changed, and there has been no reduction in players' salaries. The first league of the new season, PARI, will start on July 18, and “Torpedo”'s first opponent will be the “Chelyabinsk” football club.
This season, the team is ready to showcase its strength and aims for success, learning from past mistakes.
