Manchester City is facing quite a few difficulties this season. Changes are expected in some positions of the team. For this reason, head coach Josep Guardiola intends to significantly strengthen the squad during the summer transfer window.
According to the publication Defensa Central, Guardiola has recommended to the management to purchase two young and talented midfielders from Real Madrid – Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga.
The report states that the "Citizens" are ready to offer 200 million euros to the Madrid club for these two players. The English club has valued 21-year-old English star Bellingham at around 150 million euros, while they are willing to spend 50 million euros for 22-year-old Frenchman Camavinga.
However, it is emphasized that the likelihood of Real Madrid's management agreeing to this offer is very low. The reason is that the "Royal Club" sees these two talented players as part of the team's future and does not want to let them go.
It is worth noting that Pep Guardiola has previously tried to bring Jude Bellingham and Eduardo Camavinga to his team. However, at that time, the young stars preferred to choose Real Madrid.
How these transfer negotiations will conclude is still unknown, but Guardiola takes his plans seriously, and the "Citizens" may face significant changes in their squad this summer.
