The Referees Academy in Uzbekistan has started its activities
The Referees Academy was established by the Uzbekistan Football Association with the aim of advancing the football refereeing system in Uzbekistan to a new level and enhancing the theoretical knowledge and practical experience of young referees.

Today, an official opening ceremony of the academy was held at the "Chig‘atoy" sports base, attended by the leadership of the UFA, experienced instructors, and promising young referees. Participants were provided with detailed information about the main tasks of the academy, training programs, and the opportunities created for young referees.

Ravshan Ermatov, the first vice-president of the UFA, emphasized in his speech that this project will play a significant role not only in our country but also in the development of football refereeing in the region. He also mentioned that this initiative, which has not been implemented before, will serve to align our refereeing system with global standards.

"A football referee must have a perfect understanding of every rule and detail and must always work on themselves. Refereeing is a profession that requires not only knowledge but also dedication and a high level of responsibility," said Ravshan Ermatov.

The Referees Academy is expected to play a crucial role in shaping the skills and competencies necessary for young specialists to manage games on international platforms, which in turn will contribute to the prestige and quality of Uzbek football.

The new Academy not only serves as a training center but also provides opportunities for young referees to exchange experiences, analyze, and continuously grow.

It should be noted that the educational process at the academy consists of 6 modules, and 25 selected referees will participate in the first module of the training course from May 6 to 12 through practical exercises. Referees who successfully complete the training courses will be recommended to manage tournaments classified as the First League, Pro League, Super League, and AFC.
