Salah will be deprived of a twenty-million-pound bonus for leaving Liverpool early.

According to international sports media, Egyptian national team and Liverpool FC star forward Mohamed Salah will be deprived of an additional payment in his contract due to his decision to leave the club early. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to information from the famous The Sun newspaper, a bonus of 20 million pounds sterling was set for the player on the condition that he remains in the team until the end of the 2026-2027 season. This clause regarding the bonus was explicitly included in a new contract signed in April 2025, requiring the player to serve the club until that time.
Since Salah is expected to leave the club this summer, he will have to forgo his right to receive this large financial payment stipulated in the contract. According to these reports, Mohamed Salah's early departure will allow Liverpool FC to save a total of 40.8 million pounds sterling, or approximately 46.9 million euros.
The footballer officially announced his summer transfer plans on March 24, stating that he would not continue playing at Anfield after the end of the current season. Although his current contract is set to be valid until summer 2027, this decision means concluding his career at the club significantly earlier than planned.
The 30-year-old winger has been one of the most important and effective players since joining the club in 2017. He has appeared in a total of 435 matches across all competitions, scoring 255 goals and providing 122 assists to his teammates during this period.
The Merseyside team will remember Salah as an unforgettable player with such impressive statistical records in the club's history. His results and achievements during his years at the club have left their mark on football history.
