Guberniev: Russian teams may return to the European Cups

Earlier, the Secretary General of the Russian Football Union, Maxim Mitrofanov, expressed the possibility of lifting the ban. According to Guberniyev, the Russian Football Union is actively working to bring teams back. He emphasized that he would be happy if our clubs participate in European competitions next year.

The important thing is to take practical steps, meaning that alongside hoping for UEFA, we must also act with all our strength. This was reported by the "Match TV" channel. For reference, the Russian national team and clubs have been suspended from international competitions by a joint decision of FIFA and UEFA.

Currently, the Russian national team can only participate in friendly matches. In the last game, Valery Karpin's team defeated the Belarus national team 4:1.
