"Lokomotiv" will pay off the debt to "Mariupol" and lift the ban

Last week, the "Lokomotiv" football club faced sanctions from FIFA. This was reported by www.euro-football.ru.

The Moscow team was prohibited from registering new players for three transfer windows due to debts owed to the football club "Mariupol." Previously, the CAS had forced the "railway workers" to pay approximately 65 thousand euros to "Mariupol" for the training of defender Mark Mampassi.

"Loko" did not refuse the payment but sought clarification on who the funds would be transferred to and how, as well as regarding the club's existence.

Currently, "Lokomotiv" board chairman Yuri Nagornix informed "Sport-Express" that the money transfer to "Mariupol" has been completed.

Thus, in the coming days, the transfer ban imposed on the "railway workers" will be lifted. This situation will restore the club's ability to purchase new players and positively impact the team's performance.

The resolution of the debt will also assist "Lokomotiv" in participating in international competitions. It should be noted that the club's management and players are closely monitoring this process.
