Liverpool spent more than 200 million euros in the summer

The Liverpool team is spending a significant amount to strengthen its squad during this summer transfer window. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The most expensive transfer was Florian Wirtz, who joined Liverpool from Bayer for 125 million euros, excluding bonuses. Additionally, the Merseysiders added two more players: Jeremie Frimpong (Bayer) and Milos Kerkez (Bournemouth) – their transfer fees were 40 and 47 million euros, respectively.

Thus, before the start of July, Liverpool has spent over 200 million euros on new players. Moreover, while the English champions continue to strengthen the team, they are also selling some players. For example, goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher moved to Brentford for 14.8 million euros.

Right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold was sold to Real Madrid for 10 million euros. Central defender Nat Phillips transferred to West Bromwich for 3.5 million euros.
