Edoardo Bove returns to the field after cardiac arrest

The midfielder of the "Roma" club, Edoardo Bove, may continue his career in the next season despite previously facing serious issues due to cardiac arrest. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the results of medical examinations confirmed that the player has fully recovered and is ready to return to training. The 23-year-old player's health is stable, and he is expected to return to the field at the beginning of the 2025/26 season. This incident occurred on December 1, 2024, during a match in the Italian Serie A championship.

Bove suddenly lost consciousness while playing on loan at "Fiorentina." It was later determined that he had suffered a cardiac arrest.

The prompt intervention of doctors saved his life. Subsequently, a cardioverter-defibrillator was implanted under his skin. The contract between Bove and "Roma" is set to last until the summer of 2028.

His loan period at "Fiorentina" will continue until June 30, 2025. Thus, the stability of the player's health and physical condition is considered good news for the club and fans, as he is expected to return to the field in the near future.
