CSKA is close to signing a contract with Mateus Alves

The São Paulo midfielder Mateus Alves may move to the CSKA club in the capital in the coming days. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Globo, the Brazilian player has been allowed not to return to the training base due to active negotiations regarding the transfer. The parties are close to an agreement, with the contract value estimated at around six million euros.

Initially, São Paulo demanded ten million euros for the 20-year-old player, but the demands were reduced due to financial difficulties.

According to sources, CSKA representatives have already held a video call with Alves and confirmed their interest in his transfer. Direct contact has been permitted by the Brazilian club.

In the current season, Mateus Alves has played 25 matches for São Paulo across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing five assists. His contract with the club is valid until the end of 2028.

According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is approximately three and a half million euros. This transfer is expected to open new opportunities for Alves.
