The General Secretary of the Russian Football Union, Maxim Mitrofanov, announced that he had a conversation with Dmitry Gafin, the chairman of the board of directors of the Moscow "Dynamo" club, regarding the procedure for the draw of the Russian Cup race. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
Earlier, Dmitry Gafin criticized parts of the recorded video of the draw process and expressed doubts about its transparency. Mitrofanov stated that a complete recording of the draw exists and expressed that he does not fully understand such reactions.
He also emphasized that there had been communication with the "Dynamo" management on this issue, and there were no misunderstandings. According to the General Secretary, the draw and its presentation in written form across the entire RPL system were implemented due to low ratings in previous years.
In the future, the Russian Football Union has not ruled out the possibility of posting a complete recording of this process on the internet. This approach aims to enhance the transparency of football competitions.
