Fyodor Smolov apologized for the controversy, no doubt

Businessman Andrey Popeluha shared his thoughts on the conflict involving football player Fyodor Smolov as a participant in the incident. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Popeluha, Smolov suggested settling the matter, but he did not agree, which led to the contentious situation. The businessman also immediately informed Smolov that he had no claims against him.

After the conflict, the football player apologized through his lawyers. In an interview with "Sport-Express," Popeluha stated, "We had a bit of a quarrel, he apologized, everything is fine.

There is no conflict from the injured party either," he emphasized. He also added that he has no information about anyone demanding money from Smolov, as three million rubles is not a large sum for his company, and therefore the likelihood of someone taking a risk is low.

Additionally, it became known that Smolov had a quarrel with two men in that cafe. Previously, football players Aleksandr Kokorin and Pavel Mamaev had also quarreled there.
