The transfer of Real Karreraz was halted due to price reasons

The Madrid clubs "Real" and "Benfica" have not yet reached an agreement on the transfer terms of left-back Alvaro Karreraz. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The "Royal Club" planned to buy the 22-year-old player before the start of the World Club Championship, but could not convince the Lisbon team. Currently, the issue remains unresolved.

According to Marca, "Real" does not want to pay the 50 million euros that "Benfica" is demanding for Karreraz. This decision is not related to Fran Garcia's reliable performance, but rather the "Royal Club" considers "Benfica's" demand excessive.

On the Transfermarkt website, Alvaro Karreraz's value is listed as 35 million euros. The Spanish player's contract with "Benfica" is set to last until 2029.

Currently, negotiations between the parties are ongoing, and additional time is needed to reach an agreement. The Madrid club is trying to reduce the purchase price for the player, but the Lisbon team is not backing down from its demand.
