Local commentator Dmitry Guberniev shared his thoughts on the dissolution of two teams representing the Moscow region – "Khimki" and the hockey club "Vityaz". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, there is no negative trend in Russian sports. Teams have closed, which is a natural occurrence.
Instead, other clubs will open. The regional budget is not limitless, so if there are sponsors, there will be teams as well.
Guberniev does not consider this situation a tragedy. The Moscow region's "Khimki" team faced serious financial difficulties last season.
The team finished twelfth in the Russian Premier League competition and was unable to obtain the necessary license. As a result, the club began the bankruptcy process.
This situation does not indicate problems in the sports sector, but rather signifies the emergence of new opportunities. If cooperation between sports teams and sponsors continues, new clubs are expected to be established.
Thus, positive changes will occur in the field, and sports will continue to develop.
