The former head coach of Tula "Arsenal," Sergey Kirlyakov, expressed his support for Russian specialists in an interview with the online publication "Evro-Futbol.Ru." This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He assessed the recent decision of the "Dinamo" team to approach a local specialist as a positive development. According to Kirlyakov, this decision is particularly important for "Dinamo," as they chose a Russian specialist over foreign coaches.
He also emphasized the successful work of "Zenit" head coach Semak. Kirlyakov mentioned that many foreign coaches have previously worked, but now trusting a local specialist is the right decision.
He noted that it is regrettable that there have been no international competitions and that our club is still not participating in the Cups. At the same time, he believes that Russian specialists appear to be superior to foreigners.
On June 13 of this year, Moscow "Dinamo" appointed Valery Karpin as head coach. He will now work simultaneously with the Russian national team and the Moscow club.
This indicates the strengthening position of local coaches.
