Mostovoy: The Virt's transfer changed football

Former USSR and Russia national team midfielder Alexander Mostovoy shared his thoughts on the record transfer made by Liverpool for Florian Wirtz in an interview with the publication "Euro-Football.Ru." Euro-football.ru reported on this.

According to him, the world of football has been in a strange state for a long time. When asked if the amount spent when Neymar was sold to PSG was correct, Mostovoy answered yes on one hand, but no on the other.

Nevertheless, there has been a lot of noise about this situation. Mostovoy also responded affirmatively from a marketing perspective when asked if Ronaldo's annual salary of 200 million euros in Saudi Arabia was correct.

"Here too, a sum like 150 million euros would never be given by an ordinary team for such a player. Although he is strong, football is a big business and one of the largest industries," said the former player.
