Gazizov: The limit on legionnaires in the RPL will be tightened

Shamil Gazizov, the general director of the "Dinamo" team in Makhachkala, expressed his opinion about the possible tightening of the established limit on legionnaires. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to Gazizov, tightening the limit will lead to an increase in the prices of foreign players. He emphasized that the stricter the limit, the higher the prices for quality legionnaires will be.

The market is already becoming challenging due to the increasing demand for players. Currently, the legionnaire limit allows teams to register 13 foreign players during the season.

On the field, a maximum of eight legionnaires can participate at the same time. The current champion of Russia is the "Krasnodar" team.

There is a possibility that the legionnaire limit within the framework of the Russian Premier League will be significantly tightened in the near future. This decision could impact the situation in the football market and the teams' composition policies.
