Valeriy Ovchinnikov proposed to reduce the number of legionnaires

Coach Valeriy Ovchinnikov emphasizes the need to strengthen the restrictions on the number of legionnaires. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

He cites the example of the "Krasnodar" club, where eight foreign players took the field in the starting lineup. The club's founder, Sergey Galitskiy, had dreamed of winning the Premier League only with his trained players.

Ovchinnikov also states that bringing only Brazilian players to the Russian Premier League does not solve anything. According to him, in the near future, Brazilian players may play as a full team on the field.

Additionally, the expert suggests that there should be no restrictions on players representing national teams. These ideas can positively impact the development of football and are crucial in encouraging local youth.

By limiting the number of legionnaires, more opportunities will be created for local players, and the level of the national team will rise. Thus, it is deemed necessary to tighten restrictions to ensure healthy competition in the field of football.
