Boca Juniors announced that they have signed a contract with former Zenit defender Leandro Paredes. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

On the club's official social media page, a message was posted saying, "Welcome, Leandro!" The 31-year-old player, a world champion with the Argentina national team, will play for the team under a contract that is valid until December 31, 2028.

His market value is five million euros, and Boca Juniors paid only 300 thousand euros to the Italian club Roma for this player. In the 2024-2025 season, Paredes played in 33 matches across all club competitions, scoring four goals and providing two assists.

From 2017 to 2019, he played for Zenit in Saint Petersburg, making a total of 61 appearances and scoring ten goals. Paredes is expected to make a significant contribution to his new team with his experience and skills.
