Former defender of Moscow "Spartak" Dmitriy Parfyonov emphasized that Xabi Alonso, the head coach of Madrid's "Real" team, made a mistake in his tactics against "PSG" in the semi-final of the World Club Championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to Parfyonov, Alonso put three forwards in the starting lineup, which put the team at risk, but this tactic did not yield results. The expert stated that at the beginning of the game, opportunities are usually equal, but the strength of the teams is not always the same, and in this case, "Real's" approach ended unsuccessfully.
Parfyonov also noted that there is currently no clear leader on the field in the "Real" team. This match ended with a score of 4:0 in favor of "PSG," and they will compete against London's "Chelsea" in the final.
