At 46 years old, he has officiated the UEFA Super Cup during his career. However, he noted that he has not yet had the opportunity to work in a European Cup final or at the higher stages of the Champions League.

According to Karasyov, his dream is to finish his career sooner and return to the international stage. At the same time, he believes that if opportunities arise to participate in international competitions, there is a chance to reach the final.

It should be noted that since 2022, Russian clubs and national teams have been banned from participating in international tournaments. It was also previously reported that UEFA included Karasyov in the elite referees group.
