Zenit may sell the Brazilian defender
The Brazilian defender Nino may leave St. Petersburg's "Zenit" club and return to his homeland. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to BNews, the 28-year-old player's transfer is of interest to the "Bahia" club. So far, official negotiations between the parties have not begun.
Nino moved to "Zenit" from Brazil's "Fluminense" club last winter. His transfer fee is estimated at 11 million euros, and his contract is valid until mid-2028.
In the past season, the Brazilian player appeared in 25 matches, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Nino's performance at "Zenit" has had a positive impact on the team.
His reliability in defense and activity in attack are considered important for the club. If the player decides to move to "Bahia," it will mark a new stage in his career.
